About Ian
Born in California but raised in Boston, I'm a performer who brings an East Coast edge to the West Coast breeziness of my quirky characters.
I got incredible training from the Brown/Trinity Rep Consortium in Providence, Rhode Island, where I studied under master teachers such as Brian McEleney, Oskar Eustis, and Paula Vogel, earned my Actors' Equity card, and was a key part of Trinity's infamous Elliot Norton-award-winning production of MERRY WIVES OF WINDSOR.
Since graduating school, I've been able to live in the heart of New York and worked with companies like the Public Theater, the Huntington Theater, Soho Rep, New Georges, the Lark Play Development Center.
My favorite thing to do is work on new plays, and I had a lead role as Tim in the West Coast premiere of Greg Kotis' PIG FARM at the Old Globe in San Diego, coproduced by the Roundabout, directed by Matt August.
In my unreal life, I'm a Boston sports lunatic, web developer, poker player, and listen to a lot of music. Ask me about my arm trick.
